Week 12

November 2-6

Happy November!

Wow- last week was crazy! Reb Ribbon Week, an early dismissal, Halloween, and Hurricane Zeta! I hope everyone found some time to rest and relax over the weekend. This month is going to be busy. This week, we will be taking Star Assessment benchmarks. This is something we will do monthly. Star assessments give us great data on how students are growing and where they need support. Please encourage your third grader to try their best on these computer based assessments. There is one for math and one for reading.

Box Tops for Education-

Please click the link below to get more information on how to support our school. It takes less than five minutes to download the app and get started.

It is time for conferences, and I will have a sign-up ready for you soon. I am working with the second grade teachers and Mrs. Winebarger to ensure that the conferences we have will be as beneficial to you as they can be. If your student has changed teachers, I think it will be best if we can find a time to all meet together. Scheduling with multiple people can take a little longer, so I appreciate your patience as we figure out times that will work best for everyone. For now, if you have a question or concern that you want addressed immediately, please let me know via Dojo or email!
