Select a tool to use for your presentation
There are hundreds of online presentation tools out there. This is a list of just a few that we have found to be the most useful in an educational environment.
Things to consider when selecting a presentation tool:
- What type of information are you presenting? (numerical data, opinions, storytelling, etc.)
- How will this be viewed by the audience? (Are you presenting face-to-face with a room of people? Are they viewing this online?)
- What is the mood of your presentation? (serious, funny, etc.)
- Who is your Audience?
Now, explore the presentation tool below that best matches with the answers to the questions above.
Tips for Embedding Video
**When embedding, think about where your original video file is located. If the video file is saved online (to your Google Drive or Dropbox accounts) then it is accessible anywhere with Internet access. If it is only saved on your computer, then you must bring the video with you on a flashdrive.
Always make sure the embedded video links in any presentation direct you to the correct location for the video!
