4th Grade Update

Week of March 22

  • It's finally here! Tuesday, March 29 is STAAR Writing and we're ready to show off everything we've known about how to be a good writer! Students will have four hours to complete two sections--grammar (multiple choice questions) and expository composition writing. If your child did not order a sack lunch from the cafeteria, please send your child to school that day with a lunch. Please note that visitors will not be allowed to have lunch with students on STAAR testing days. STAAR scores are usually received the last week in May.
  • Saturday School will be held April 16
  • May 4: Parent information meeting (7:15 a.m.) regarding our Austin field trip (more details to come next month!)
  • May 9: Math STAAR
  • May 10: Reading STAAR
  • May 12: STAAR Make Up Day if needed
  • May 25: Fourth graders go to Austin!
