Summer Update - July 8, 2021
Happy Summer!
I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July holiday. Summer is in full bloom!
Our PTO used uniform sale is on July 15th. Donate your outgrown uniforms to the office. We will be coming back to school with full uniform requirements. A copy of our uniform requirements is included for your convenience. New families, there will be an informal parent orientations during the sale where you can meet our wonderful PTO members and find out more about St. Dorothy.
On July 24-25, Dennis Uniform will be holding its annual on-line sale. Discounts apply only to uniforms purchased on their site: www.dennisuniform.com. Remember to order your Dennis Scrip before the sale. Order and pay on the RaiseRight APP by July 19 at 9 a.m.
Mrs. Jasso is taking a much needed break, and the office will be closed until July 27th. You will continue to receive weekly updates and the website and social media sites will carry important information.
Enjoy your time off. Don't forget to show us what you're doing during the summer by posting on Instagram and using #sdcssummer.

Citrus College Hosting COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
If you haven't received your COVID-19 vaccine yet, and are looking for appointments close to home, look no further.
Citrus College is hosting a vaccine clinic on Friday, July 9th from 1-6pm in the stadium lot. Visit myturn.ca.gov and enter "Citrus College" to sign up.
Remember to use Scrip all summer long
Did you know that Scrip can be used for your weekly grocery shopping trips, nights out and even family vacations? You're spending the money, why not let Shop With Scrip pay your Scrip committment?
Please put the RaiseRight App on your phone to make it easier to purchase scrip over the summer. Families who use escrip are able to finish their commitment much more quickly.
Staff Update
It is with regret that we have to say goodby to Mr. C. Although he was only with us for a year, Mr. C brought a great spirit to our PE classes and had our students up and about whether on line or on campus. He has moved on to work with the City of La Puente. We wish him and his family well on their new journey.
In good news, I am happy to announce that Mr. Ryan has agreed to be St. Dorothy's assistant principal. His constant enthusiasm, love of our Bruins, and wonderful ideas will continue to make our school a better place to be. We are all lucky to have Mr. Ryan on campus.
