Target Audience: Elementary School Music Teachers
Come join a mother/ daughter duo of elementary music teachers to learn unique, creative, and fun ways to teach students to love and cherish music from an early age! This session will have a vast amount of information, ideas, activities, and knowledge you can immediately take back with you to your classrooms and implement while keeping with a differentiated approach to teaching music and connecting to the new Georgia Music Standards of Excellence!
Mrs. Jayme Crowley and Mrs. Joy Dodd both teach Elementary Music in the Gordon County Schools system. Each have received many accolades and awards in their field of teaching, specifically, Mrs. Crowley was a current finalist for Gordon County Schools Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020! Also, both Mrs. Crowley and Mrs. Dodd were clinicians at the 2011 Georgia Music Educators Conference in Savannah, Georgia. Both of these ladies love music and love teaching kids and are very excited to share with you things that they have found work extremely well for the students and the teacher in the elementary music classroom!
