News from Ms. Alex in the Office

Please be sure to call in your child or email Ms. Alex if they are absent for any reason. Her email address is alex@nhcscrusaders.org.


Please call by 9 am if possible.


***Junior High Absentee Homework Procedure: A sheet will be passed around and work collected throughout the day for the absent student. The work, along with books, needed will be available in the office to pick up after 3pm. We can also leave the work in the mailbox if you will be by after 4 pm.


*We are in need of extra boys clothes at school for when accidents happen. We could use sizes 5 to 8 if you have anything you are needing to get rid of.

NHCS Prayer Team and Prayer Box

NHCS now has a student led prayer team. These students meet twice a month to pray over our school, staff, and students. They will now also be praying over specific needs that students place into the prayer box.


The prayer box is located outside the main office.

NHCS Extra Cirricular Activity Reminders

**Students are not allowed to be dropped off at any NHCS event without an adult accompanying them.


**Students must remain in the building throughout the duration of the event. They will not be allowed to play on the playground unless an adult is with them.

Concession Stand Workers Needed

If you would like to work in the concession stand, please let Mrs. Smith know what date or dates you could work. We have a lot of home games this year and this will allow parents to watch their kids play more often. You can contact Mrs. Smith at smith@nhcscrusaders.org.


Parents of athletes you will be assigned games soon.

Picture Re-Take Day/Basketball Pictures/Cheer Pictures

Tuesday, October 24th- Will be picture retake and all basketball pictures. We will also take Pee Wee Cheer-leading pictures.


Order forms will be coming home today!

Parent Teacher Conferences

If you haven't scheduled your conference yet, please contact your child's teacher ASAP!!!!


The first quarter ended Friday. Report cards will be sent home at conferences.

Intruder Training

On Wednesday, October 25th, we will have an intruder drill. Students will watch and discuss an age appropriate video and then we will have a drill. The most beneficial part of the drill is the conversation that takes place with the teacher and students. I encourage you to ask your child about what was discussed during their class conversation.
