College Connections
On Thursday, October 26th, nine of the sixteen colleges who participate in College Connections were at Staley High School to meet our seniors and discuss possible scholarship offers specifically for them.
Each school was given ten minutes to talk about the programs and unique opportunities their college/university has to offer. After the presentations, our students were able to meet individually with the representatives and receive a packet with their scholarship offer. It was a huge success!

Information about Recommendation Letters and Transcript Requests
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
Most college applications and scholarship applications will want you to have at least two or three recommendation letters from people who know you in and out of the classroom. Brainstorm a list of people who would be good choices to ask for letters of recommendation. CLICK HERE FOR A TIP SHEET ON ACQUIRING LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
When asking adults to write a letter of recommendation for you, you may want to fill out this Letter of Recommendation Request Form and give it to the professional along with your resume. You need to give this to the adult at least 2 weeks in advance.
Don't Forget! Give your letter writers 2 weeks advanced notice!
