Free Parent Workshops from BCPS
Free Workshops to Coach Parents to Teach Reading, Writing
Taught by current or retired BCPS teachers, the courses will include a variety of learning activities to motivate and engage children, including information on concepts of print, writing, phonics, comprehension, and oral language.
Tuesdays from 10:30-12:00pm @ Pikesville Public Library branch
The five new session classes will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon each Tuesday beginning March 7, 2017, and ending on April 4, 2017.

The workshops are free and sponsored by a partnership among the PTA Council of Baltimore County, Teachers Association of Baltimore County (TABCO), Baltimore County Public Library, and the BCPS Parent University.
A spring session of the workshops will begin on Thursday, May 4, at the Owings Mills branch of the Baltimore County Public Library.
