Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that is passed down in families. It mainly effects the lungs. It causes a thick sticky mucus to build up and can be a life threatening disease. It is one of the most common diseases in adults and children.
What are the symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis?
Some of the symptoms of this disease are wheezing, breathless, salty skin, repeated lung infections, stuffy nose, and a decrease in ability to exercise.This is one dangerous disease.
Who can get Cystic Fibrosis?
Approximately 30,000 Americans have Cystic Fibrosis.There are about 1,000 cases of this disease every year.This disease can effect nearly every race.More than 10,000,000 Americans don't know they have it.Between 1999 and 2006 over 3,000 people got Cystic Fibrosis and died.

What I have learned about this is the disease itself. How it is cured. And how you can get this disease. How many people die every year. And what types of treatments you can get to help the symptoms. I have learned a lot about Cystic Fibrosis and it is one deadly disease.
