What a week! Let's take a look back!
We had our 1st Fall Field Trip, for Pre-K, K and 1st Grade. Students traveled to Highland Orchard to pick apples, and enjoyed cider and donuts! It was so great to explore the orchard, learn about the types of apples and enjoy a hayride! The students were fantastic, and most excited for the school bus!
We also had our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Cardboard Challenge! Each year, students work together to create something entirely out of cardboard. Their creativity is endless! The project is inspired by Caine's Arcade, a cardboard arcade that went viral a few years back, and has continued to reach students across the nation! Students certainly did not disappoint this year. We saw all kinds of creations including a claw machine and plane to Paris! Way to go everyone!
Finally, I would like to extend a huge thank you to our school community for supporting Parade of Pumpkins. We sold close to 200 pumpkins over 3 days, and cannot wait to see them displayed in our 17th annual Parade of Pumpkins. Bringing Hope Home will be attending, so be sure to stop by their table to say hello. They are a wonderful organization with a great story to tell. We are happy to partner with them each year. A big shout out goes to our 3rd grade team, Mrs. Millstein, Ms. Carter and all of the 3rd grade students and parents. You guys crushed it!
Our next big event is Halloween, and CBA does it like no other! Along with support from PAC, we have put together an event to remember. Students will participate in a costume parade, will enjoy bloody good treats, and will have plenty of outdoor fun and games (weather permitting). Students may wear costumes to school (this is NEW). Event details and costume guidelines are below.
