The B.Y.E. Buzz

Notes from the office
Our students have worked so hard on State Testing. 3rd-5th graders will have MAP testing this week. We will do all make-ups for Aspire as well. Thank you for a great week!
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We have the BEST teachers at B.Y.E. that make our school top-notch. Please show appreciation this week by sending a nice message to your child(ren)'s teacher, having your child make a card or write a note, or bring their favorite soda to show appreciation. Thank you, PTA, for organizing the appreciation week.
We will have Spirit Day Fridays for the next few weeks. We are starting off with Neon/Bright Colors for May 6.
The BYE Read-A-Thon starts Monday. All students will bring home a reading log. It is the responsibility of each student to honestly record their reading minutes and bring the reading log back with parent/guardian signatures along with a sponsor sheet and money by May 13th.
Don't forget video entries for the talent show are due by May 13th. Everyone who wants to participate needs to send in a video and some lucky contestants will be chosen to perform live. Get all the info you need on our Family Music Page.
There are many community opportunities coming up at school and in the community for youth. Please check out the newsletter.
