4 layers of a rainforest

4 layers of a rainforest

One of the layers is the Forest floor and hardly any plants grow it is very dark and there is no light.

Another one is the canopy and a few animals live in the leafs of those trees such as a toucan, snakes and tree frogs.

Another is the understory layer. Very little sunshine reaches the plants, so they don 't grow very big. There are lots of insects living there.

Now for the last one, The Emergent layer the emergent layer is the very top of a rainforest. The trees here grow very tall, up to 200 feet. A lot of sun light reaches them. Animals that live here are eagles, monkeys, bats and butterflies.
