Class of 2022 Graduation


Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2022 will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 4PM on the Methacton High School campus. We look forward to celebrating this exciting milestone event with our students, families, faculty and community!

2022-2023 Instructional Calendar


The instructional calendar for the 2022-2023 school year has been approved. Some notable dates are:


  • August 30, 2022 - First Day of School (Grades 1-12, K Orientation)
  • Nov 7 & 8, 2022 - Parent/ Teacher Conferences (K-8)
  • June 14, 2023 - Tentative Last Day of School

Award of Excellence

Methacton’s Award of Excellence honorees for February 2022 represent Arrowhead Elementary School. They are: Kelly Benarick, Certified School Nurse; Jen Hobson, Learning Support Teacher; Sandy Fischer, Kindergarten Teacher; Gloria Rosato, Personal Care Assistant; Tracey Hanson, Instructional Assistant; and, Tom Davis, Custodian. All of these outstanding staff members provide support for students, staff, and our community. They are valuable team members and we are pleased to share with everyone how much we appreciate their commitment to the Methacton School District.

Jr. Board Representatives

A very special thank you to Jalynn Miller and Chase Cowan for representing Arrowhead Elementary School as Junior Board Representatives for February 2022. Jalynn led the meeting by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Chase delivered a statement on what makes Arrowhead such a great school.

Eagleville and Arrowhead Construction Updates


Fidevia provided the Board with an update on the construction projects at Arrowhead Elementary School and Eagleville Elementary School. Click here to read the February progress report for both projects.

Board Notes
The Methacton School District's Board of School Directors meets each month. School board work session meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of the month, followed by the regular meeting on the fourth Tuesday (except during the month of December). Regular Board and Work Session meetings typically take place in the Arcola Auditorium, and all residents are invited to attend. Committee meetings take place in the MHS LGI. Meeting agendas are posted to Agenda Manager, and start times and locations are posted on the District's website. Please confirm meeting time and location before attending.
