What does MLA stand for?

How do you format a paper using MLA? What are the requirements?

To format a paper using MLA, you need to double space and put the headings on the left corner of the page. The title should be double spaced and centered. Use quotation marks when you are using a sentence from someone elses work. Give them credit. Don’t forget to indent your paragraphs. Write in 12 point format. (Purdue)

What is a Works Cited page? How do you format a Works Cited page?

How do you cite a book source? How do you cite an internet source?

When citing a book source, it needs to look like this. ‘Lastname, Firstname. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Medium of Publication.’(Purdue Owl).




When citing an internet source, it need to look like this. ‘Editor, author, or compiler name (if available). Name of Site. Version number. What is an in-text citation? (Use it when citing your sources)

An in-text citation is for example, when you put a quote or something else from another person, and you put their name or where it’s from right after the quote. (Info Game)
