February 17th- No School
Please review the 10 Teach 10 graphic about the JCMS Guidelines for Classroom Passes. We will implement these guidelines on Tuesday, November 12th. If your student lost his/her planner, he/she can purchase one in the office for $5, or he/she can bring his/her own personal planner to use.
Science with Ms. Hoyle
Students will be finishing up analyzing speed graphs and taking the 2nd part of their speed and velocity quiz on Tuesday. We will then be learning about acceleration after that.
Math with Mrs. Bange
Monday- Students will complete an activity to build understanding of inequalities (Lesson 12).
Tuesday- We will complete lessons 13 and 14 over solving and graphing inequalities.
Wednesday and Thursday- Students will work in their groups to complete a project over writing, solving, and graphing inequalities.
Friday- Students will complete a study guide to prepare for the Topic a and B Test.
World Geography with Mr. Akagi
Next week in World Geography, we’ll continue our look at East Asia. We’ll keep on examining the Koreas, as well as beginning to look at China. By the end of next week, we’ll have concluded our Unit on East Asia.
Language Arts with Ms. Griem
Language Arts will be finishing up Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds! Half way through the 3rd term! Please remind student to turn in missing work, make corrections, or redo assignments. Also, please be patient with make up work. Keep in mind that I have to keep up on current work that needs to be graded as well as take time to grade and input late/missing/corrected work. Grades should be updated on Friday mornings!
