Warrior News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
November 22, 2019
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
What an exciting time to be a Warrior! The outpouring of support and excitement for our Warrior Nation has been nothing short of inspiring and humbling at the same time. Please know that as we approach this time of Thanksgiving, our students and our staff are extremely grateful for the community support we receive. Today, and every day, is truly a GREAT day to be a Warrior.
Enjoy the shortened school week next week and be sure to take some time to reflect on all their is to be grateful for.
Hopefully, we will see you at Camp Randall in a few hours. Dress warm and bring your energy and enthusiasm to cheer on our Warriors!
Have an awesome day and GO WARRIORS!

ACT for Juniors
ACP December 4, 2019
All high school students will be participating in an ACP lesson that covers the topic of suicide awareness. The purpose of this presentation is to equip students with the signs and risk factors often associated with people who are contemplating suicide or having suicidal thoughts. Through this lesson, students will also demonstrate the ability to problem-solve, engage in help-seeking behaviors, and find suicide prevention resources. Students will complete an exit survey that will ask them if they need to be seen by someone on our student services team or if they have a question following the presentation. District student services staff members will respond to the exit survey responses based on urgency.
