Tuscany Heights

Celebrating 10 Years of Tiger Traditions

Tuscany Heights Elementary

Tuscany Heights is the 168th Lighthouse School in the Nation as recognized by Stephen Covey. Through student leadership, we grow leaders that encompass a growth mindset and establish lifelong skills that will support our students as they grow into adults. Our mission is a living action statement that we use to guide Team Tuscany, as we do great things for all.

"We, THE Tigers, will be inspired to LEAD, HONOR, and EXCEL today!"

Bailey's Bulletin

Our school fundraiser is in full swing! We appreciate your support in the coming week. It helps us fund instructional materials, field trips, author visits, and more that in turn supports our students' growth. Thank you in advance!

We look forward to showing our gratitude to all of the veterans that come out on Monday, Nov. 11th.

On Tuesday, Nov. 12th, we will have a crane arriving on campus at 6:30 am and working in the back area near the bike rodeo space. We are having a chiller (air unit) replaced. This should not impact you, students, and/or staff, but I did want you all to be aware the maintenance crew will be here with a large piece of equipment in case you noticed it.

I wanted to notify you in advance of my expected absences. I will be out of the office and away from my email from Saturday, November 16th - Sunday, Dec. 2nd . My youngest daughter is having surgery Monday, November 18th and we will be out the entire week. We have backed her surgery up to the Thanksgiving Break since her surgery is a four-week recovery. I always attempt to respond to my messages within a 24 hour period of time, so it is important to me that I make you aware of my absence. While I will be away, your concerns are still important to me and I do not want you to have to wait. If there is a concern, please know Mrs. Amber Leon, Assistant Principal, will be your contact for administration during this time. Our students and staff are in great hands with our administration team. Your child’s teacher continues to be the first contact to support the school to home communication. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.

Thank you for your understanding!

Proud Principal,

Tara Bailey

The North East Education Foundation (NEEF) a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) is hosting their annual Gala on Friday, February 21 to raise funds for innovative, educational projects in classrooms throughout NEISD. Please consider donating a silent auction item to represent our campus and help raise funds for NEISD students, district-wide. As an example of NEEF’s impact, Teacher Name at your campus, was the recipient of a $15, 671.75 check from NEEF in support of his/her Name of Grant to be used for STEAM- Explore Learn Lead. Please see the NEEF letter below for more information and the registration link to attend the gala!

Ideas that get the most bids—

-Travel baskets (fishing, hunting, skiing or beach trip…donated by a parent who owns)

-Items that are specific to your campus (past examples: tiered garden beds, fire pits or home goods created by students)

-Fiesta/San Antonio theme basket

-Night on the town in SA (gift cards to area attractions---even one gift card can be combined with others to make a great item).
