Examples of Ways to Foster Independence
Students can work in collaborative groups, with specific jobs/ roles assigned to them to complete an assignment/ task together.
Google Classroom for Self Paced Activities
Teachers use Google Classroom to assign work that can be completed throughout the week at their own pace. These can be activities that incorporate research of new material, review of old material, or creation to show what students have learned.
Within this PD module, there are multiple examples of note taking documents for students to use with Pebblego, or any other research site you want your students to use.
Give Students Time to Investigate in DE
Through Student Techbook, there are multiple resources for students to investigate certain Science topics.
Third graders at RRES follow a rubric to complete their Wixie digital piece to the Living History Museum.
