Chicks

The chicks hatch out of the egg. They use their eggtooth. The eggs are hard. The eggs are laid on land. They grow until they are an adult. Then they lay their own eggs.

Butterflies

First a egg is laid on a leaf. Then a caterpillar eats and eats and eats until it gets bigger. Then the caterpillar makes a pupa. Then a butterfly comes out of the pupa. It makes its own babies.

Frogs

A female frog lays one-hundred eggs. Then a tadpole hatches out of the egg. Then the tadpole loses its tail. The froglet grows its back legs and its front legs. Then it is a frog.
