Why were the pyramids built in like a triangle?
Some theories about the pyramids are that the were meant to look like the first land to appear at the beginning of time,a hill called 'Ben-Ben'. Another theory that since the sides are sloped, so the spirit of the pharaoh can climb to the sky and live forever ,after death.
Who built the pyramids?
The pyramids were built by "farmers during the Nile floods,when they could not tend their fields." Also, surveyors, engineers, carpenters, and stonecutters helped out.
Why were the pyramids one of the seven wonders of the ancient world?
The Great Pyramid of Giza is a marvel of human engineering and construction. Its sheer size and scale rivals any structure built with in the past few hundred years. It was the tallest structure ever built for more that 4,000 years. It was the structure itself with its symmetry and imposing height whiuch impressed ancient visitors, and its the member of the seven wonders of the world.
How were the pyramids built?
The Pyramids were made by artisans cutting stones into large blocks. Then, workers tied the blocks to sleds and dragged them to the nile. After that, they put the stones on barges that went to the place the pyramid was being built at. Finally they took the blocks off the barge and pushed them up ramps to be put in place.
