Student Production:
A tradition put on hold over the covid years, Sparta High’s third theatrical production of the year was finally realized with “Is He Dead?” Tuesday, May 24th, and Thursday, May 26th. Directed by Laurel Ferguson and Kavya Kamath, the show follows the story of Jean Francios Millet, a young French painter who fakes his own death to escape death and prison and marry the love of his life. Embodying natural comedy and the hard work of over two dozen students, the Student Production was an entertaining show that succeeded in spite of all the obstacles the students faced along the way.
The cast, crew, and production team involved included Melissa Schweizer, Katie Sheeran, Meghan Smith, Paige Degiovanni, Julianne Handzus, Hana Kachersky, Joey Flynn, Julia Kadar, Tyrese Nagamos, Shea Harrison, GIanna Ramieri, Miranda Smith, Annika Noel, Kimi Bellamy, Luca Budofsky, Ash Louissaint, Laura Scheri, Lynessa Marrow, Amarin Parham, Catherine Marussich, Austin Di Lascio, Noah Adkins, Emily Pappa, Hope Maher, Kaden Kamback, Julia Juan, Frankie Lloyd, and Emma Muth.
