34th Edition - February 2019

2nd Semester!

Between two snow days and two cold days this is definitely a memorable start to the second semester. I again want to recognize the kindness and generosity of the Webster community over the holiday season as demonstrated by our Family Sharing Food Drive and our Kapco Kids2Kids toy Drive. We donated over 1300 pounds of food and over 500 toys. Amazing work Webster!

Soon I will be meeting with our 6th and 7th graders to discuss their schedules and course selections for next year. More information will be emailed out in the coming weeks.

8th Grade Career Day Wednesday, February 20th, 2019

What are your strengths and interests?

What hobbies and activities do you like to do now?

What are your favorite and least favorite classes?

What are classes and extra-curricular activities you may want to explore in high school?

What are careers you may want to know more about?

Do you know what the 16 Career Clusters are and careers related to those clusters?

These are questions our 8th graders will explore on Career Day, February 20th, 2019.

Students will choose sessions they wish to attend in the “Career Clusters” that are of interest to

them.

If you would like to volunteer for Career Day please contact Renee Schlitz at reneeschlitz@gmail.com or Barbara Klocko at BKlocko@jawis.org.
