Stress
Stress during an infectious disease outbreak can sometimes cause the following:
- Fear and worry about your own health and the health of your loved ones, your financial situation or job, or loss of support services you rely on.
- Changes in sleep or eating patterns.
- Difficulty sleeping or concentrating.
- Worsening of chronic health problems.
- Worsening of mental health conditions.
- Increased use of tobacco, and/or alcohol and other substances

Self-Care
1. Go for a walk
2. Listen to your favorite song
3. Take a long shower
4. Read a book
5. Pet your dog
6. Rub your cats ears
7. Make or order your favorite meal
8. Play a game
9. Have a dance party
10. Treat yourself to an hour off, just doing something you enjoy
It is not only important to take care of our physical health, but our mental health as well. These are just some suggestions to get you started. Try one, or come up with your own. The most important thing is to have it be something you enjoy and that makes you feel happy inside.
