NO TEACHER LEFT BEHIND
Teachers are just as important!!!!
How would I provide consistent learning opportunities for teachers to ensure that they are not left behind?
It is very important that teachers receive the proper education and training to ensure each child reaches their full potential. I will make sure teachers attend workshops, seminars/webinars, and staff meetings each year to ensure that every student will gain the 21st century skills they need to succeed in life.
Should all teachers across the country use certain practices?
No, I do not think all teachers across the country should use the same practices because every teacher has a different teaching style: authoritarian, permissive, detached, authoritative. Authoritarian teachers are firm and do not accept misbehavior in their classroom . They usually talk with a stern, loud voice to get the children to comply. Permissive teachers are teachers who are "too nice". They usually talk with a soft voice and their classroom is usually out of control. Detached teachers show no emotion or concern and are unaware of their student's behavior and academics. Authoritative teachers are the kind of teacher everyone needs to be. They are supportive of their students academically and physically, they have a classroom management plan, and have a open communication with the parents.
How well are teachers being prepared to master the ISTE Standards for Teachers in their classroom?
Teaches are not prepared to master ISTE Standards for teachers. This is my first time hearing about these standards, but after researching the ISTE standards I think all teachers need to become familiar with them because of how fast technology has grown. ISTE standards evaluate the skills and knowledge of an educators to stay connected with a global and digital society.
