Hello Wolf Pack,

It's been a jam packet week at Selkirk! Spring sports games are underway and we have about 200 students participating! It's so great to see so many involved!

We also welcomed our 5th grade families at our Parent Night on Thursday evening and incoming 5th grade students visited today. We loved seeing them as they watched our music programs perform and as they interacted during games and a tour of our school with 8th grade leadership students.

Dress Code Reminders

As warm weather begins, we are seeing an increase in short shorts and other dress code situations. We've included the PACK Expectations below. We will review that on Monday in classes and encourage you to talk it through with your student. We understand short shorts are trending and finding long enough shorts can be tricky. We also realize students have grown over the winter, and what fit last fall, may be too small now. Take a little time to decide what works for school.

As admin, our plan is to offer a reminder/coach on the first occasion and find a way to fix the issue for the day. On the second occuarnce, we will call home to partner with parents. If there is a 3rd, we'll assign a lunch detention.

Thank you for partnering with us.
