Why smoking is horrible for your health?

A cigarette contains lots of poisons. One major poison is Cresol. Cresol is used in making bombs. So think about it. If you smoke a cigarette your putting bomb material inside of your body.

Effects of smoking?

Through smoking you can get a disease named Emphysema. This disease causes enlarged air sacs of the lungs. Its also makes breathing much harder. This disease is also irreversible.

Anything you smoke is bad for you!

If you smoke tobacco, for instance, you can contain a disease called Leukoplakia. Leukoplakia is a disease where you have white spots or patches in your mouth. This is a pre-cancerous sore.

Why Smoke?

Smoking doesn't help with anything, All smoking does is harm your body. Smoking causes lots of cancer. One type of common cancer from smokers is lung cancer.

Deaths?

More than 5 million deaths in the U.S is caused by smoking. By calculations 8 million deaths will be caused annually from smoking!

Smokers v.s. Non-smokers

Smoking cuts at least five-and-a-half years from the life of a 30-year-old man and almost seven from a woman of the same age. The chances of dying at the age of 60 are doubled for smokers compared with non-smokers.

Body Parts effected by smoking

Brain:Nicotine, the addictive drug in tobacco, goes to your brain very quickly.Nicotine makes you feel good when you are smoking, but it can make you anxious, nervous, moody, and depressed after you smoke it.Using tobacco can also cause headaches and dizziness.

Mouth:Tobacco stains your teeth and gives you bad breath.Tobacco ruins some of your taste buds, so you won't be able to taste foods as well.Tobacco causes your gums to bleed and cancer in the mouth and throat.

Heart:Smoking increases your heart rate and blood pressure and causes heart disease and heart attacks.If you try to do activities such as exercise or play sports, your heart has to work harder to keep pumping.

Lungs:Smokers have trouble breathing because smoking damages the lungs.If you have asthma, you can have more asthma attacks.Smoking causes a lot of coughing with mucous.Tobacco can cause lung disease and lung cancer.

Skin:Smoking causes dry, yellow skin and wrinkles.The smell of smoke sticks to your skin.

Muscles:Less blood and oxygen flows to your muscles, which causes them to hurt more when you exercise or play sports.

One time and you may become addicted!

Cigarettes contain nicotine which is highly addictive. If you try to quit smoking it will be difficult because you are addicted to the effects of nicotine. Some research shows nicotine may be more addictive than cocaine.
