Otoe County 4-H Wednesday What-Nots
December 6 , 2023
SHOUT OUTS!
Open House & Project Fair
Special thank you to all of the youth & their families that volunteered to share at the 4-H Open House & Project Fair! It was great to see you show off your hard work and we look forward to doing it again in the future.
OPPORTUNITIES
Very exciting that 4-H has snagged a spot to showcase our youth’s designs during Omaha Fashion Week 2024!
2024 Special Garden Project
The 2024 Special Garden Project will focus on Princess of India Nasturtium. This Victorian-era heirloom flower can be grown in a variety of ways including in containers. It provides a splash of color from its scarlet flowers and much of the plant can be eaten.
**New for 2024** With the changes to 4-H Online, youth are encouraged to enroll for Horticulture/Plant Science through 4-H Online. Youth will have to reach out to their local Extension Office to sign up and order the seeds.
2024 Visual & Performing Arts Open Call
Calling all artists, creators and performers! We’d love to see what YOU do best. Submit your work for a chance to be featured at upcoming National 4-H events. We’re looking for singers, dancers, instrumentalists as well as visual artists and creators of all kinds. Enter today to showcase your unique talent on this national stage!
