- Cory and Lance traveled to Sun Prairie to begin a yearlong inquiry ensuring equity in our middle schools
- Cory met with district principals to analyze district behavior data and collection practices, identifying the needs for consistency and software needs
Coming Up:

Safety Protocol & Fire Drill
In your binders you have a document that has the exiting instructions for fire drills. We created a new document that can be edited. This document has a different page for each floor of our building. Some of you realized there was a more efficient way to exit the building. In that case, please update your route on this document. This document can also be found in the Wilson Resources Shared Drive under Safety Protocol. Then please print the page out for your room/floor and insert it into your emergency binder (replacing the old document).
Daily Gratitude
On Friday, Cory and I shared:
- I'm thankful for Dumpster Pete (our bearded dragon in the office) for bringing students and staff together. Students have brought him food and drawings. It was also Pete that spiked up a conversation with a student who typically avoids adults. This student ran up to me and asked me about Dumpster Pete and had a smile that spread from ear to ear.
- Cory was thankful for the opportunity to head out to camp and hang out with some of our sixth grade students, socializing with them over breakfast.
