Lunch in Schools
We are delighted that next week we will be part of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako healthy school lunches programme.
This means that ALL our students will be receiving FREE lunches every school day.
The programme is starting in next week on Tuesday 9 February.
They will still need to bring their morning tea, but lunch is provided for all students.
There will be many questions for yourselves and your child about the menu and how it will be implemented and we are currently working with the Ministry of Education and Compass Group Food Services to get you this information.
If you haven't already done so, please inform the office if your child has any special dietary requirements. Lactose intolerant? Vegetarian? Halal? Nut allergy? Allergic to eggs? Anything at all?
If your child has any dietary requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Hats and Togs
Mr Quince has been working hard over the break to get our pool ready so we will be able to enjoy swimming at school. Learning Teams have a roster of swimming times and days and there will be some lunch time and after school swims as well. Children should bring their togs and towel every day so we can make the most of our swimming.
Thank you to Bill Kidney and the team at TR Group for donating two copies of 'TR & Mack The Hopeful Black Dog (and a truckload of Aroha)' a book from I Am Hope, created by Mike King & Tommy Wilson...
Thank you so much to you all!
Making Contact with your Teacher
Please bear in mind that immediately before school is usually not the best time to start a conversation and many teachers have duties and team responsibilities immediately after school, so please arrange a suitable time to meet to discuss things.
Call or email the office at any time - we will always do our best to help.
If you didn't get one at your Head Start Hui, sports registrations forms are available at the office. Please get these back to the office asap as we need to make up teams.
Touch: Touch is played at Hickford Park in Bell Block on Wednesday afternoons starting on February 17 and running for 6 weeks. If your child is interested in touch please register them at the office asap. Children play Under 6,8,10 or 12 and then intermediate. All teams will need a coach so if you can help can you please indicate on the notice.
