Mr. Anderson - Language Arts
Ms. Bosse - Math
Math 6- We're working through an "Adopt a Pet" project to focus on budgeting and adding decimal values. We also did a Recipe activity where we halved and doubled recipes. Next week we will be working on Scale Drawings and I will introduce Translations on a Coordinate Grid.
Extended 6- We reviewed Scientific Notation and Integer Operations this week. Next week we will be learning about the Counting Principle and and Histograms. We also did the Recipe activity where we halved and doubled recipes.
Mr. Cardone - Social Studies
Students will begin our last unit on the Civil War. A unit project will be distributed and students will begin exploring the causes for the Civil War. For this unit, students will be asked to create a map of the major battles and events that transpire during the War.
Mr. Cardone - Science
Students will continue our weather unit but learning how to map current weather conditions as well as discussing the different types of precipitation. We will have a quiz on the atmosphere on Tuesday of next week.

Checks payable to Pennington or cash (exact change) are acceptable when settling student accounts. We do not charge fines, only the replacement cost of the book.
