Around Auburn School & Community

Tiger Family Fun Night is this Friday, October 26. Games and Dinner from 4-6:30; Live Auction starts at 6:30. Come with your family for a night of fun!

The Book Fair is open all week! Students may bring money and shop any day.

Auburn Archery Signups are October 23 and 25, at 6:30 PM in the hall by the school cafeteria, for students grades 4th-8th. New/beginner archers will have a chance for a trial practice that evening before committing to the program. $20 signup fee ($15 for each additional student in a family). Practices will begin the week of Oct. 30. Middle school students MUST have a sports physical on file at school before participation. 4th-5th grades have until Nov 16 to turn in their sports physical. Additional information, including coach contact info, can be picked up in the school office.

If your child missed picture day in September, retakes will be Nov 1 (this is a change in date from previously 10/23) Students who have already had their photo made may also participate in retakes WITH A PARENT NOTE.

The School-Based Decision Making Council currently has a vacant parent seat. Any person with a child at Auburn School may nominate themselves or another parent for election. Nominations must be made in writing by Nov. 12. Turn in nominations to the school office - you may send with your child or drop off anytime during school hours. The SBDM parent election will take place at 5:30 PM in the school library November 13.

  2. Enter your name, email and Auburn's project number: 912757
  3. Check your email for a confirmation code. Enter it, select a username & password to complete your registration.

Yearbooks may be ordered ONLINE using your credit card until November 9 at using the online store at Balfour and follow the directions below.

  1. Go to Balfour.com
  2. Type in Auburn Elementary School, Ky
  3. Click on Shop
  4. Select Yearbook only package

Alternatively, students may purchase a yearbook in the lobby during sales Nov 7-9 from 7:25-7:45 with CASH or CHECK. No change will be given, exact change only. Please make checks to Auburn School.
