“There is a Body” - Rev. Mary Gear
We are all born from a body and inhabit a body that carries us through this world. There are many stories about our bodies given to us from religion, tradition and culture, family, and others. What does our UU tradition have to say about stories and bodies?
Join us for Online Worship.

Bicycle Commute Challenge
Time again to saddle-up and join OUUCyclists for the Intercity Transit Bicycle Commute Challenge (BCC)! Each spring the Thurston County BCC provides encouragement and motivation to try getting around by bicycle, with fun events and prizes. May 1 through 31 log your miles online of any bike ride you take in Thurston County here. All rides count-errand, recreational, commute to work or meetings! When you register, join our team OUUCyclists!
Food Chains Film and discussion
Tuesday, May 18, 6:30 pm. Discussion with Washington farmworkers and advocates. Online - RSVP. Sponsored by Strengthening Sanctuary Alliance and OUUC Faith in Action Ministry. Food Chains shows us the very human lives of farmworkers, their hopes, their dreams, and their fight for a livable wage. Workers in Immokalee, Florida petition Publix Super Market to pay one more penny per pound of tomatoes. Their campaign taught them how supermarkets and food corporations set the rules and prices. And how they need to claim the wages they have earned.
Quick Notes
A note from Fumiko Coyne: The flowers in our yard are beginning to bloom. If anybody needs flowers for special occasions, I will be able to create arrangements for them. Of course, it is free. Our peonies are ready to bloom. Contact Fumiko.
