A Message from the Principal
August 30, 2021
Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,
I am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, September 1, at our first Home and School Association meeting! We will enjoy pizza at 5:30pm and will start the H&SA meeting and Art Enrichment at 6:00pm. Art Enrichment is open to currently enrolled students ages 3 and up.
Calling all Dads! Please plan on attending our Home and School Association meeting tomorrow night at 6:00pm to hear what Jack Price has planned for this year’s Dads’ Club.
Parent survey! Throughout this year the School Advisory Council will be working with me to create our next HFCS Five Year Strategic Plan and your input in this process is vitally important – please respond to this survey by September 20. Https://forms.gle/WgJDG81DeUgfeBjv7
This is a comprehensive survey so please give yourself time for thoughtful reflection and response. The parent community will gather at our November 3rd Home and School Association meeting to discuss the results of this survey and to add new goals and aspirations to our plan.
Thank you and God bless,
Ann Walters
Principal

Walking with Women in Need
Walking With Moms in Need is a new nationwide initiative from the USCCB that the parish has been implementing. Attached the first newsletter that explains WWMIN a little more.
The plan is to have an “organization of the month” where we will feature different opportunities to learn more about that organization.
The first featured organization will be Catholic Charities and we will be hosting a couple of KNOW poverty hours, giving everyone the opportunity to learn about CC and their out of poverty pathways.
Catholic Mission Committee
Please join us for Eucharistic Adoration beginning on Thursday, September 9 and every Thursday after the school Mass at 9:00am and ending with Benediction at 6:00pm in the Chapel.
All are invited to pay a visit sometime throughout the day at your convenience. If you’ve never been to Adoration, we invite you to come following the school Mass for Exposition then we will pray the Rosary as a group. It is a special time to pray and to be in the actual presence of Christ. Please click on the link for a great description on the meaning of Eucharist Adoration and a fun activity for you and your child.
