Here you will find information on current college rep visits, test dates, and important upcoming information you will need to know for the month. This is a great tool that provides our students with valuable information on a timely basis.

Student Orientation

  • 9th grade orientation meeting for all 9th grade students and parents on Tuesday, August 6th starting at 5:30 pm. We are starting in the St. Charles High School auditorium at 5:30 pm. Parents and students will have the opportunity to learn about St. Charles High School, turn in required paperwork, pick up their Chromebook, get their picture taken and receive their schedule. The evening should end around 7:30 pm.

    If you have not proven residency by this time, please bring paper copies only to Orientation. 2 forms of proof of residency are required; 1 from each list below:

    -List A: Current/Unpaid Gas, Water or Electric Bill, Current Rental Contract, Current Mortgage Statement, Current Real Estate Contract or Current Homeowner’s Policy.

    -List B: Current/Unpaid Gas, Water or Electric Bill, Current Personal Property Tax Receipt, Current Bank Statement, or Current Credit Card Statement.


    Please note that other bills will not be accepted as proof of residency.

  • 10th – 12th Grade Registration will take place on Thursday, August 8th starting at 12:30 pm until 3:30 pm and again at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Main Gym. Students will have the opportunity to turn in required paperwork, pick up their Chromebook and receive their schedule for the upcoming year. We are adjusting our times for 10th – 12th grade Registration this year to hopefully better meet the needs of our families.

Chromebook Night

In case you miss registration on August 6th & 8th, We are hosting a Chrome Book Night here at SCHS.This will give parents and students the opportunity to come to the library, fill out appropriate paperwork, and pay for the insurance on the Chromebook.

It will be held on :

Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 from 5 pm - 7 pm

**This is for the Chromebook only, NO schedules or other registration paperwork will be given out. **

Family Festival Night

The date for the Annual Family Festival has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at St. Charles High School from 5:00-7:00 PM. Vendor Organizations will be set up in the gymnasium and the commons area inside St. Charles High. Hot dogs and water will be served outside. Chartwells will have their food demo and many community organizations will be in attendance sharing valuable resources, services and information.

First Day of School

Thursday, August 15th is the First Day of School.

Back to School Night

St.Charles High will host their "Back to School Night" on August 22nd @ 6 pm.

Parents will have the opportunity to meet their child's teachers and find out about their course information.

Registration Deadline for September ACT

The deadline to register for the September 14th ACT is August 16th.

College bound students are encouraged to take at least one ACT their junior year.
