Literacy Night was a BLAST!

Literacy Night was a huge success. We had approximately 60 families participate in the various activities. Children and families participated in the climbing wall, rope, giant word sorts, Literacy Game Show, Literacy Escape Room, books swap, creation of a perpetual story, and student led read alouds.

Thank you to our teachers Ms. Amsallen, Ms. Rodriquez, Ms. Bowman, Ms. Folmar, Ms. Morriello, Ms. Kelly, Mr. Lewis, and Ms. Michel for organizing and helping to bring the activities to all.

Thank you to Bella T, Starla M, and Glenda for volunteering to be our read aloud readers and to the Grade 5 Quest students for their hard work in assisting with developing and running the activities; Peter M., Bella T., Gavin R., David S., Sonia M., Starla M., Tyler L., Chase H., Jack G., and Jacob B. Finally, a thank you to the MHS volunteers who came out to provide support, we couldn't have done it without you!
