Growing Up
Beginning
He just wants to have fun and he gets into trouble a lot when he is young with his friends. He also is at the age where he doesn't know right from wrong which gets him in trouble even more along with Scout.
Middle
He is starting to realize right from wrong a little bit and he has a change in personality. He learns things that Atticus tells him and he tells scout when she does stuff that jem has done like when jem was told not to eat things that you find, which scout finds gum in the radley tree then jem tells her not to eat food you find.
End
jem starts to get hair on his chest and he protects Atticus ideas when the trials were going on. Because Atticus is trying his hardest during the trials even though he is not going to win. there is a lot of people who doesn't like that and jem sticks up for Atticus.
Bravery
Beginning
He is just a kid at the age of eleven so he is not very brave at the moment, but later on he gets even more brave
Middle
He protects scout and Atticus. He starts to do stuff that he hasn't done before and some of them scares him, but he stands up and do them any way.
End
He is really brave at the end because when jem and scout are coming back from the school at night they were being follow. They were scared, but they kept walking home. bob youl was following them and was going to kill them, but jem fought him off until he broke his arm.
