Your child's nightly homework: Read 20 minutes every night!
Your child will not have homework this year unless:
1. They are absent and make up work for the day will be sent home.
2. They are falling behind on Rocket Math facts, at which time I will send a letter to inform you there will be homework until they catch up and/ or meet the expected level.
Reading
We continued focusing on the sequence of a story or steps in a technical or scientific process. We are finding those transition words in the text to help us understand the story better. We continue to work on fluency, vocabulary, phonics and phonemic awareness each day.
Math
We spent all week subtracting with 2 digit numbers. We will be using those same addition strategies to help us subtract.
Here are the links to the student book and practice and problem solving book.
