Board of Trustees
Call for New Board Members: Looking to share your skills? Consider joining the SMCS Board of Trustees (BOT). The BOT helps to enhance SMCS with leadership, guidance, decision-making, financial support and public relations. Each year we look for individuals with business, marketing, legal, human resources or financial backgrounds; but most importantly you must be ready to help our Catholic schools grow. We are seeking Catholic individuals who are alumni, parents, parish members or anyone with a connection to our school system. Trustees are elected to one three-year term of office and may serve a subsequent term.
We are currently accepting candidates for consideration. Please contact Paul Seveska at paulpsev@aol.com if you are interested.

Discipleship Digest
A message from Steve Pable, Director of Adult Discipleship Formation Catholic Parishes of Neenah & Menasha. Learn more about Steve's role here.
On this first milestone in our Lenten journey, we come face-to-face with the reality of our sin. It’s easy to find evidence for Original Sin around us; the bitter fruit of our fallen state plays out in headlines every day. Lent, though, invites me to acknowledge my own brokenness, not that of my neighbor, praying those powerful words: “through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.”
It is exactly this situation that Jesus came to remedy. He is here to do battle on our behalf against the Enemy who would hold us in perpetual slavery to sin. The weapons Jesus wields are fasting and prayer, and “every Word that comes forth from the mouth of God.” He is our model and inspiration in this fight against temptation. Following His example of self-denial, we draw strength from the fact that He has already won the victory. He has made us sons and daughters of His Father through our baptism.
Lean on God’s love this Lent, and seek His mercy. You are beloved of God, and He wants nothing more than to draw you closer to His heart in this holy season.
