Fort High Slo-Pitch Team
Slo-pitch practice – Monday at lunch. Slo-pitch GAME – Monday at 4:15 pm at SAP the bus will leave at 3:20!
Sting Football Spring Camp
Practices begin Monday, May 15. Locker room will be open at 3:30, practice runs 4:30-6:30 with equipment draw occurring before, during and after practice.
Leadership
Our leadership students brough a little colour to Win Ferguson this week and helped the grade 1 class create a beautiful stained glass display.
It was lovely to see all the students get so involved.

Upcoming Bottle Drive Grad Fundraiser
Sting Clubs
Mondays - Crochet Club at lunch in Room 27 (Mr. Sorenson’s room). This is a student led club for beginners, experts or even knitters are welcome. Materials will be available.
Wednesdays - GSA – in Room 53 at lunchtime.
Fridays - Dungeons and Dragons Club – at lunch in room 26.
Counsellor Corner
Our Success Coaches will continue to review and meet with Grade 12 students to ensure graduation requirements have been met and to support grads with post-secondary and financial planning. Grade 12 students are reminded to ensure they can access their MyPass account.

Summer Opportunity: Foundations in Industry Workplace Safety - July 4 - 14
Elk Island Public Schools is offering Foundations in Industry Workplace Safety for Summer 2023:
In addition to earning five high school credits, students will also obtain credentials in specific areas of workplace safety in partnership with industry-safety experts. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be credentialed in:
- H2S Alive
- Confined Space
- WHMIS 2015
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Ground Disturbance
- Detection and Control of Flammable Substances
- Fall Restraint Systems
Students must complete all learning components of the course to receive credentialing.
