Dear Parents and Carers,

Please keep in your thoughts and prayers all of the students in Year 3,4 and 6 who will be attending the enrolment Mass this Saturday evening as a part of their preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.

Please note I will be on leave from next Monday through until Monday, May 8. Mr Yock will be in charge while I am away.

Our students have now almost completed NAPLAN testing and once results are available the school will send them home to families with students.

The Edu Dance Concert will be held on Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00pm.

Our student leaders had a great day at the young Leaders Day on Monday. There were some great motivational speakers and many thanks to Mr Yock and Mrs Daniele for supervising and as usual our students behaviour was outstanding.

The Australian government requires information on an annual basis around the national data collection on school students with disability. The data collection process for St Columba’s will mean providing information around students with disabilities. The process is confidential and no there is not any personal information disclosed to the government.

A reminder, students will finish this term on Wednesday, April 5. Easter will be celebrated during the school holidays. School will resume in Term 2 on Wednesday, April 26.

We welcome all parents in PP - Year 6 to attend the Edu-dance Performance Concert on Tuesday 4 April, commencing at 2pm. Book this date in your diaries! The Concert will take place on the top oval (next to the drive through) with specific sections for students/staff and parents. Please see the information below regarding costume requirements for the Concert.

We ask students to bring their costume to school for their Week 9 Edu-dance lesson on either Tuesday, 28 March or Wednesday, 29 March to allow for a full performance run-through before the actual concert date. Students are required to bring their Edu-dance costume to school on the Concert Performance Day (Tuesday 4 April) and will have time in class to change into their outfits.

At the conclusion of the concert all classes will return to their classrooms where parents will have the option of collecting their child early from school if they wish. We look forward to a great experience and memorable event. Please see your classroom teacher if you have any questions.

Any changes to current online bookings need to be made by emailing the classroom teacher.

The offers of enrolment for siblings of existing families for Kindy 2025 have emailed to families who have submitted all required documentation. Please ensure you accept by the deadline and call the office to pay the enrolment deposit.

If you still have outstanding documentation to submit: Please do so as soon as possible. We will email an offer once this is finalised.

If you have not yet applied for Kindy 2025: Apply online via the enrolment page on the website and ensure all required documentation is included.

Cash payments are no longer accepted. Payments can be made by credit card - Visit scholastic.com.au/LOOP or download the LOOP app. Your order will be electronically linked to the rest of your school's order. You do not need to complete the order form.
