Scappoose Students, Families, and Staff,
Hello Scappoose Community,

Seniors have received information regarding all the upcoming events that culminate with graduation on June 3rd at 1 PM on McNabb Field. Caps and gowns are handed out on Friday, June 2nd. Oregon state assessments began on May 1st, 2023, and despite technical difficulties, students successfully completed their assessments; this week will be makeup for students that missed their opportunity to assess. Robotics News
Come down to the metal shop at the high school (in the CTE building by the staff parking lot) next Thursday, May 11, 2023, to celebrate a productive year with the Scappoose High School Robotics Team Byte Sized. Wish our graduating seniors well and encourage the younger team members, laugh as we present our food-themed awards, see our robot in action, enjoy pizza, snacks, and cake, take an engineering challenge, and see what engineers these great kids have become!
Our team meets year-round and does outreach with the school and the local community so if you are interested in having them show up and inspire with STEM and robots or have a student 7th -12th grade interested in joining for the summer, feel free to come by as well!

We had two of our senior-athletes, David Brown and Jonathon Clothier, sign with Newberg’s George Fox University football program. It is a great testament to the type of competitors that represent Scappoose.
