Snow Days!
As is always the case, once a decision is made to go to full virtual due to weather conditions, WOBM, 94.3 The Point, NJ101.5 will be notified and we will also share the information via our district website, TV21, on a robo call to staff and families, email blasts, and social media.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Molly serves as a Senior in Charge with TEAM and has been elected to National Honor Society. She is an active member of Captain's Crew, the Class of 2021, and our Writing Center. Outside of school, Molly volunteers her time in the SAIL and Reading Buddies programs at the Ocean County Library. Academically, Molly has been named an AP Scholar and a Commended Student in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program. After graduation, Molly hopes to study Accounting at either The University of Florida or The University of Tennessee!
Svar serves as President of our National Honor Society and as the Vice President of FBLA. He is the Captain of our Varsity Tennis team and is involved with the Math League, Student Council, Roots N Shoots, Captain's Crew, and the Class of 2021. Outside of school Svar volunteers with SAHELI 4 Toms River and Ocean Medical Center. He is an AP Scholar with Honors and has received The Congressional Silver Award. After graduation, Svar would like to study Neuroscience or Biology at the University of Chicago, with the hopes of becoming a Neurologist.
EDUCATORS HONORED!
Congratulations to HS North's 2020-21 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Kyle Seiverd! Mr. Seiverd has taught at High School North for 9 years of his 10 year career. He currently teaches AP Environmental Science but has also taught Biology I, Environmental Earth Science, and Science I. Kyle chairs our School Climate Committee and has been instrumental in obtaining grants for our new Outdoor Classroom and greenhouse refurbishment projects. In addition to pursuing a doctorate in education, Mr. Seiverd enjoys Disney, traveling, reading, and elephants. He enjoys being an advocate for the environment. Finally, Mr. Seiverd counts the supportive nature of our school, his colleagues, and our students, among his favorite things about HSN.
ATTENTION: Semester ONE Online Personal Finance students
**Any student that has already finished the 37 modules and post-test and would like to take the final exam early one will be run on December 16th. Please email (mlee2@trschools.com) or send Mrs. Lee a Remind (@pfs12020) message if interested.
The regular deadline for the S1 Session for the 37 modules + the post-test are January 26th.
The final exam will be January 28th.
Please note: You will not be allowed to take the final exam until ALL 37 modules and the post-test are completed.

Senior Portraits:
Attention Seniors! Make sure you check your SENIOR YEARBOOK PICTURE on the Yearbook Google Classroom. If you had one taken by Lors or MP Pics, please make sure your photo is there, it is you and your name is correct. If you did not have a photo taken, check to make sure your name is listed under the "Seniors Not Pictured" section. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Macnab at smacnab@trschools.com.
Candid Photo Submissions:
The yearbook is asking YOU to submit your photos! We are currently collecting photos for the following:
- 12 Days of Holiday Spirit
- Virtual School
- Pet Photos (you AND your pet)
- College Commitments (seniors ONLY)
To submit a photo, please go to the Yearbook Google Classroom and submit your photo to the appropriate Google Form. Please email Ms. Macnab at smacnab@trschools.com with any questions.
Underclassmen Pictures
Underclassmen Pictures are scheduled for the following dates: Monday January 25th – Thursday January 28th. English classes are scheduled to take in- person students to get their pictures taken.
All Virtual students will have the opportunity to come to the school in the afternoon to have their picture taken. Make-up dates are scheduled for February 22nd & 23rd. More information to follow.
