Kahoot!
Students like Kahoot because of the game format and because students earn points based on how quickly correct answers are given. Kahoot is a game-based platform where students can even teach classmates by researching, creating and presenting their own Kahoot quizzes.
- Students use a device or laptop, open kahoot.it.
- Students enter a Pin number projected on the screen and click Enter.
- Students choose a name and click Join Game.
- Students wait for the teacher to begin the game.

Socrative
Students go to m.socrative.com.
Students enter your assigned "virtual room number".
Teachers login at http://b.socrative.com/login/teacher/ to create an account and to manage quizzes and exit slips.
Socrative also has an App for most devices.

Edmodo - Snapshot (ELA and Math only)
This tool is great for quick check-ins focusing on ELA and Math standards. Choose from a bank of pre-written questions.

Edmodo - Polling
This tool allows you to post a quick poll onto students' Edmodo homepages. Results can be viewed in chart form and populate live, as students respond to the prompt. Polling allows you to do a quick class vote or to respond to a multiple choice question.

This tool is perfect for uploading a quiz or writing your own questions, and receiving immediate results. Both students and parents can view the final score.
