Addressing Power/Control Dynamics
A Men's Web -Group Addressing Abusive Power and Control
Web-Based Men's group addressing Abusive Power & Control Relationship Dynamics
In our work over the past decade with male identified individuals coming to therapy for various sex, relationship, and intimacy issues, many have admitted to engaging in abusive behavior that has caused significant harm to their adult partners (e.g., emotional, verbal, mental, physical and/or sexual abuse, manipulation, coercive control, posturing, financial abuse/control).
This group is for men who struggle with these dynamics and want guidance on how to identify and take responsibility for their abusive behavior, and learn strategies for creating more equity, respect, reciprocity, and regard in their most intimate relationship.
