To Kill A Mockingbird
A review by Grace Thompson
When I first read this book it was had to get my head around the plot but I fell in love with the characters. It took me a few chapters to find out that Scout was a girl because she acts like a boy most of the time. Jim struck me as rather mature and well put together and looks after his little sister. Dill is a spunky young boy who gets into a lot of trouble and is good at telling stories.

After I finished the book I immediately wanted more. At the end even though it has a clean ending and their are no cliff hangers, you still feel like something is going to happen and you just want to follow Jem and Scouts life as they grow old and move away from their childhood home. I read the sequel but it wasn't as good as the first book
