The Third Grade Study Trip to the State Fairgrounds is Tuesday from 9-2. Students need to pack a disposable lunch. They should also wear comfortable walking shoes and a TCE shirt if they have one.
Quarter 1 Grade Reports are now available in Skyward.
Thorpe Creek's first Family Math Night is coming your way! Join us on Friday, November 11th anytime during 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for an evening of math fun! Games, activities, Spheros, scavenger hunt, and so much more, all focused on math concepts. PTO will be selling pizza for a quick dinner option. Hope you will join us for a family night of math fun and learning!
Fall Book Fair
The Fall Book Fair is coming to TCE! It will be open Tuesday, November 1st - Friday, November 4th during the school day. It will also be open on Friday, November 4th until 6:30 so you can shop before PTO's Movie Night! Our class will shop the Book Fair on Tuesday, November 1, 2:30-3:00. If you choose to send in money for your child to shop, send it in a clearly marked envelope with your child’s name and teacher. You are welcome to sign in at the office and shop with your child as well. **You must have a background check on file in the office if you wish to shop during the school day with your child. Safe Visitor Background Checks for our Volunteers, Lunch Guests, and Study Trip Guests
ANY PERSON visiting or volunteering at any of our HSE schools must complete a criminal history check and an anti-bullying webinar EVERY 3 YEARS.
If you already have a child attending HSE schools, and have completed a background check within the last 3 years, you should have received an email notification from “Safe Visitor Solutions” including your ID card with a special bar code that can be printed or scanned directly from your SMART device. You will need to present your I.D. badge at each visit to our school.
For FIRST-TIME or RENEWING applicants, please use the following link to begin the new process:
~The cost is $13 to be paid by credit card at the time of application.
~You will receive an e-mail notification and your Safe Visitor I.D. card when clearance is received. Most are processed within 5 business days.
