Aids is a virus that affects the immune system by destroying white blood cells known as CD4 cells. HIV is the cause of aids.

How can children get AIDS? What does AIDS do to the body?

Children get aids from childbirth. The body loses the ability to fight infection cause of the loss of white blood cells.

research is being done to find a cure by making medicine, prescription drugs are prescribed to the patient.Prescription medication stop the aids virus from spreading.
