Taft was the 27th president of the United States. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 15, 1857. In colage he had the nick name of Big Lub because of how big he was. He was 6feet tall and 240 pounds. He was elected president in 1908.
Was Taft an Imperialist?
President Taft was more committed to the expansion of U.S. foreign trade than Roosevelt was. What he did to expand the U.S. was he created the dollar diplomacy. In the end, he was all about imperialism.
