CES Families,
This weather has confirmed that summer is near! We have ten school days left in this school year! Please take a moment to read this week's newsletter!
If you have a fifth grade orchestra student, they have rehearsal on May 19 from 3:30-4:20 pm. There is a link to complete a permission slip below.
Please also see the note if your student has medication that is kept in the clinic. All medication must be picked up by the last day of school or it will be discarded.
Hopefully the rain holds off this weekend!

5th Grade Orchestra Rehearsal After School May 19, 3:30-4:20pm
There will be a rehearsal for students to prepare for the 5th grade orchestra concert on Thursday, May 19 from 3:30-4:20 pm. Students will need arrangements to be picked up from practice.
We are having a practice to prepare for our concert after school on Thursday! It is our first time practicing as a huge full orchestra, with both Mustang and Green classes combined. Please complete this Google Form to give permission for your son or daughter to stay after school Thursday, May 19th. You will need to provide transportation from the school back home.

Clinic Medication Pick-Up
Students WIll Be Keeping Their District Chromebook This Summer
If your student does experience any issues with their Chromebook over the summer, please click here or visit bit.ly/scssummertechticket to submit a Tech Ticket. A Tech Department member will contact you within two business days to assist. If your student is leaving the district over the summer, they will need to turn in their Chromebook on the last day of school. Please click here or visit bit.ly/2022scsexit to submit your student’s name to inform our department to collect the Chromebook.

REGISTER FOR ‘RIGHT AT SCHOOL’ SUMMER CAMP (6/6-7/29)
Rockin' at the Rec - 5th Grade
The last dance of the school year will be “Rockin on SMS field!” The dance will be from 6:00 to 8:30 PM Friday, May 27th, 2022
Theme: “Wear your favorite sports jersey or T-shirt”
Students will enter and exit by the bleachers please pick your student up promptly. Dance is open for any student that lives in Strongsville, in grades 5th through 8th grade. No backpacks. Restrooms will be available. Flats or tennis shoes only, no heels of any kind. No gum.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online, there will only be a minimal amount of tickets available at the door.
