Coronavirus Impact: LPHS Update
April 14, 2020
Information for LPHS Families
LPHS Parents & Guardians,
I hope everyone had a nice break from the eLearning schedule and a blessed Easter. Spring Break and Easter were far from the normal, yet we continue to face today's challenges with hope and optimism.
Please take a moment to read through the following newsletter. As you will find, there are several updated sections of information. Due to the governor's closure of schools, classes will finish out the school year virtually. I am working on additional information specific to the Class of 2020 that I intend to send out separately. Senior students/parents should be on the lookout for further communication.
Thank you for reading my updates and for your continued support of our students during this unprecedented time. Let's get back to work to finish strong this school year.

NCAA Eligibility
In response to questions regarding schools that have moved to distance or e-learning environments, the Eligibility Center will not require a separate review of distance or e-learning programs utilized by schools with NCAA-approved core courses that have moved to distance or e-learning environments for Spring/Summer 2020 terms due to school closures related to the COVID-19 situation.
Students are encouraged to complete their NCAA-approved core courses through the channels of instruction provided or recommended by their school, district or state department of education.
